Pink weeping cherry trees are striking ornamentals, suited as a focal point due to their delicate, arched branches that create a chandelier or fountain shape. Pale pink blossoms cascade down them in spring. In summer, glossy green leaves emerge, which give way to golden tones in fall.
Blooms in April and May, with pink bracts that resemble petals radiating cross-like around a compact group of inconspicuous flowers. Features dark green leaves that are oval or egg-shaped, tapering to a sharp point. They turn a spectacular red or reddish-purple in the fall.
White dogwoods grow in a pleasing, rounded umbrella shape. Their tiered branches are slightly from their short trunk or several trunks. Their white “flowers” bloom from late March or April to May, and are actually bracts—modified leaves, with small blooms in the center.

Kwanzan cherry trees grow in a lovely vase shape, with serrated leaves that grow to roughly 4-5 inches in length. Their leaves emerge reddish-copper before turning a glossy, deep green in the summer to yellow and bronze in the fall.
The Cold Hardy Mimosa flourishes around mid-June, made unique by hundreds of pink blossoms that last until September. The flowers' longer silhouettes give the tree its nickname, the Silk Tree, because their silken finish lends unique texture to the Mimosa.

Liriodendron tulipifera, or Yellow Poplar, is a deciduous tree that may grow 90 to 120 feet tall and takes its name from its greenish-yellow heartwood and attractive tulip-like flowers. The tree has alternate, palmately veined, 4-lobed leaves with a smooth margin. The bark is smooth and dark green on young trees.
Malus 'Prairifire' is an upright, broad-rounded deciduous tree with a long season of interest. Opening from pinkish-red buds, masses of slightly fragrant, dark pink to red flowers appear in mid-late spring. Draped in clusters along the branches, they are truly a sight to behold.
'Profusion' is a spreading, violet-red-flowered crabapple that typically matures to 15-30' tall. It is noted for its rounded shape, violet-red flowers, red fruit and good disease resistance.
'Autumn Blaze" is a smaller variety of callery pear, growing 25 to 30 feet tall, with a brown trunk. Unlike most other pears, this variety has a broad, rounded canopy. The canopy can spread to around 25 feet, offering abundant shade in summer. "Autumn Blaze" grows quickly, adding up to 24 inches per year to maturity.
